		<description>I have heard conflicting theories on the cold-water-wash idea.  One that interested me was that the only actual disinfection that happens with laundry happens in the dryer because of the removal of water (duh) and the heat.  Bacteria loves damp.  

On the other hand, makes sense to me that warm or hot water would kill germs/bacteria in the washer.
